A Glass of Cheer

Kinky Advent 2020 – Day 16

Day 16 of Kinky Advent 2020 brought us a glass of cheer, and a submissive prayer. Neither are something I do a lot of, if any, so the prompts needed an added twist.

Glass of Christmas Cheer

The SafeworD/s Club prompted us with a Glass of Christmas Cheer for Day 16. The idea was about fun and pleasure, so we were tasked to use a glass toy (or decorative) on ourselves or someone else. I don’t have any glass toys, they scare me. I know they are safe and have read all the statistics, but in the back of my head, the thought always nags.

I’m actually quite new to the sex toy realm, which is a bit funny considering I used to sell them. I tried them out before giving my pitch, but I guess I just preferred the real thing. Of course, this was before I told Mister K I wanted to try D/s, so things can always change.

When I heard Christmas Cheer, I immediately thought of wine or something like it, but as I don’t drink (anymore), I had to contemplate about how to make it happen. Using a bottle of left over wine from mine and Mister K’s wedding (his Dad had 48 bottles made for 20 people!) and a glass, I was able to come up with something. The cheer part is there, even if the wine isn’t.

The Prayer

Day 16 from the Submissive Guide brought us The Prayer. While this is something I definitely don’t partake in, unless at the home of a religious person, the prompt was about A submissive Prayer. A chant or devotion used to help in moments when we need to reconnect to our submission. It’s like The Lord’s Prayer, only about servility.

The prayer used in the SG advent is quite long, and while I could probably memorise it, I won’t. Although my submission is like religion in some ways, it’s not that organised in others. I do agree however, that submission can be a very spiritual experience. I choose to write or say the words I need in the moment, rather than using something pre-defined.

Tomorrow is Day 17 and it brings us a kinky present and a show of gratitude. Sounds sinfully delightful!
