Setting the Scene is An Erotic Love Story in 300 words and is a fictionalized retelling of a story already on this blog, with a few new aspects thrown in. Although the same wordcount as the original, this version shows more than it tells.
It’s difficult to know whether it’s been minutes or hours since the blindfold veiled her vision, soundproofing headphones smothering her ears. The lack of movement causes each prolonged moment to lurch into the next. Collectively, they hold their breath.
He watches, whip in hand, waiting. For her thoughts to focus inward and interrupt the eternal reverie that clutters her mind. Her breathing shallows, and as if this is his cue to begin, his lips brush her bound ankle.
She jumps at the soft touch, the unexpected gentleness. His smile is electric as goose pimples litter her naked flesh. Her belly pulls in, nipples point out.
One tender kiss, then another, placed along smooth legs, tongue trailing inch by inch. She gasps when he licks behind her knee, groans as he nips at her delicate inner thigh.
Casually, he laps at the sensitive flesh that converges between her hips. Caressing the nub with his skillful tongue, he draws a moan from between her parted lips. Then he stops, reveling in her sigh of frustration.
Tenderly, his lips rasp over rounded belly to swollen breasts, where he pulls one nipple in expertly, flicking the pert tip. He sucks, then bites until her back arches from its resting place, the cry that rings out around them ending in a moan.
Kisses wet, he makes his way up the length of her neck, across her petite chin. He angles his lips over hers, dips his tongue to taste. She meets him. They dance. Until panting, he drags her pouty bottom lip between his pearly whites.
Then, kissing each eye lightly, he lifts the headphones. Lips graze her jawline. He captures the lobe of her ear, grating his teeth across, and then whispers sweetly, “Don’t forget I love you,” before he lets the whip fly.
