Unedited and Unfiltered
This weeks #SinfulSunday prompt made me think about how we edit so much of our lives. As sex bloggers we’re encouraged to show the real us, and yet, we still edit. Instead of altering our emotions, hiding our fetishes, kinks and lifestyle choices, we censor bad lighting, unwanted items in our camera lense and blotchy spots on our skin.
We adjust our words to suit our thoughts and even then, sometimes they don’t match exactly.
But here, we are who we are.
Here, we’re real, unedited and unfiltered.
This photo was taken with my cell phone. I noticed it the day the prompt came out and thought it was a great picture of something unedited. You can’t edit your shadows. Mister K and I have three lamps placed around our bedroom and they were all on simultaneously, creating this silhouette.

This is wonderful! Very well-captured.
Thank you!
This is stunning, and I love the words: ‘you can’t edit your shadows’. There’s food for thought there…
Thank you!

“You can’t edit your shadows” I have never thought of that but you are absolutely right. Thank you for sharing that thought and this lovely image

This is fabulous! Isn’t it surprising what we can do with what’s around us when we really look.
Oh, Thank you! Sometimes the best solution is the most obvious 🙂
I like how the shadow has its own shadow. (Which has a shadow too.)
🙂
Oh! This is marvelous.
Thank you!
