Gift that Keeps Giving

Gift that Keeps Giving

Anyone who has taken a weight loss journey will tell you it’s a weird ride. After the initial freedom from the pain of new exercise and cravings for less than healthy food, you start to feel better. But as your body changes, you see the differences and not all of them give you positive emotions.

Lately I’ve been having a difficult time with how my body looks. It’s not always like this. Sometimes I see the amazing abilities and strength it has, others, just the flaws. When the flaws become too much I find myself almost obsessing about the extra flab here, or the dimple of cellulite there. It can be painful and leave me feeling less than.

Mister K, being the man he is, has no tolerance for my words of self doubt and criticism. He sees the mother of two children, a wife and a submissive who kneels at his feet. To him, I am amazing and all powerful, simply because I give him my power.

After a week of beating myself up and hiding from his penetrating gaze, he finally had enough. Ordering me to make sure I was home to receive a package, he let me know that he wanted pictures as soon as it arrived. I paced all day, feeling like a caged animal. I have tasks to complete daily, but I also have time to be out in nature and complete errands. With those freedoms removed, I felt a bit like I was suffocating.

The package finally arrived and I ripped it open with all the finesse of a bull in a china shop. The layers of tissue fell away to reveal red scraps of fabric, black bands and gold links. Upon ordering Mister K must have requested a special message, for a note was gently placed on top. It’s words were not Mister K’s but perfect and just what I needed.

Lingerie is not about seducing men; it’s about embracing womanhood.

I stripped off my clothes in record time and once I figured out all the straps and fancy links, I stood in front of the mirror and gasped. Mister K had yet again found the right words and a way to make me feel like he was with me, even when I was stuck in my thoughts.

It was only a piece of clothing. It wasn’t the moon, or the stars, but it was everything I needed it to be. A gift that keeps on giving.

Sometimes all it takes is the right piece of clothing to remind you that you’re beautiful inside, and out.

Lingerie is for everyone, no matter your gender, sexual identity or preference. Wear what makes you feel good. I know I will.

  1. Gorgeous pic of a gorgeous woman! Don’t speak ill of yourself. Be self affirming. It will help with your self image. Nice lingerie too! Mr K has good taste—in lingerie and also in women!! Don’t forget that!

  2. You look absolutely amazing, and it’s such a nice gesture of Mister K to do this for you. Love that note, and love how well he knows you. He knows exactly what you need!
