Groove Is In The Heart

Groove Is In The Heart

The first time I heard Groove is in the Heart I was quite young but it still remains on my playlist. When I hear it, I feel the urge to move, groove, feel sexy and be carefree. The only other time I feel like that is with Mister K. If you haven’t heard Groove is in the Heart, you can listen here. I’m sure it’ll make you want to groove too.

♫ The chills that you spill up my back
Keep me filled with satisfaction when we’re done
Satisfaction of what’s to come

I couldn’t ask for another
No, I couldn’t ask for another

Your groove, I do deeply dig
No walls, only the bridge, my supper dish
My succotash wish

I couldn’t ask for another
No, I couldn’t ask for another ♫

Fishnets make me feel sexy and carefree too!

While dancing around in my less than full attire, Mister K couldn’t help but enjoy the groove and the way I move either. When he looks at me that way I feel a new rhythm in my heart. A fast paced thumping, that gets my heart pumping.

♫ Help of the rhythm where I wanna be (c’mon)
Flowin’ glowin’ with electric eyes (ha)
You dip to the dive baby you’ll realize (yeah)
Baby you’ll see the funky side of me
Baby you’ll see that rhythm is the key (hmm!)
Get get ready with it (with it)
Can’t can’t quit it (quit it)
Stomp on the street when I hear a funk beat (beat)
Playing Pied Piper
Follow what’s true
Baby just sing about the groove (sing it) ♫

  1. That was a great song and music can do the same for me in terms of making me move and dance. I love dancing. And as for your fishnet look – SO sexy. I love this picture of you 😊

  2. They had that funky retro style — the B52’s were similar, and I dug both bands. (It’s so hard for me to think of the ’90s as RETRO! Gah! I’m getting old!) Your musical musings bring back memories. 🙂

And your fishnet is very fun! 😉

I'd love to hear from you!
