Last week we were expected to receive 40 cm (16 inches) of snow over night. When we awoke in the morning we had only received a few inches, but the snow flakes that were falling were HUGE! I mean fist sized snow flakes.
Mister K told me to find something “hot” to wear, so he could get some pictures of me out in the cold. By the time I got dressed and then undressed again, the snowflakes were much smaller (you simply have to be faster, he said.). But the chance to have some images taken in the fresh falling snow was too much fun to pass up.
The temperature wasn’t too bad at the time, but it dropped dramatically while we were out, so we had to cut it short. This was the best of the shots.

We did receive those 40 cm though, and then some. Welcome winter!

Gosh I can’t imagine being so undressed in the snow but as you say, such a fun opportunity. Beautiful photo, I think the black and white really captures the scene well.
