This VVD Rider Desire review covers the saddle base and the RiderGo handheld. It includes attachments, magnets, and charging. The review also discusses comfort and real-life setup notes.
Over my 30 years as a sexual being, I’ve seen and tried a lot of toys. Many feel like they were designed by someone who has only heard rumors about the clitoris. Because of this, I don’t accept every review that lands in my inbox. I research first.
It didn’t take me long to respond to the VVD Desire with a resounding yes.
The result feels less like the “figure it out” days of the past, and more like the future we’ve been waiting for: we built this for you.

About VVD Official
VVD Official is women-led. According to their About page, VVD built this brand because they were tired of the usual products. This includes repetitive designs, awkward barriers, and toys that don’t feel like they were made for real bodies. Their message emphasizes that sensuality isn’t reserved for special occasions. It’s part of life. They focus on helping people find stimulation that actually resonates with their body.
That’s certainly something I can support!
Female Anatomy Basics
In case you didn’t know, a lot of women don’t orgasm from penetration alone. That isn’t a personal failing. That’s anatomy. The clitoris is the main event for most vagina owners. Anyone who claims otherwise is either lying or a person without one.
When I review a product like this, I focus on one thing first. Does it actually support the way women orgasm? Or does it just thrust aggressively and hope for the best?
Designed to Meet Female Anatomy Where It Is
For myself, and most women I’ve asked, pleasure isn’t about depth. It’s about accuracy, consistent contact, and pressure that stays exactly where I want it. That’s the design logic here.
The Rider base gives you a stable riding position so you can control alignment and pressure without awkward contortions. Instead of forcing you to adapt to the toy, you adjust naturally with your body. As bodies vary, that’s an important selling feature.

The handheld complements that same idea. It isn’t trying to be everything at once. It’s designed to hit those places you actually want. It stays there without your hand cramping or your wrist being forced to perform at odd angles.

The Clit Grinder Is the Whole Point
The grinder/clit stimulator on the saddle is a genuinely nice touch. It solves a problem that riding toys often create. Lack of access to the spot that needs it the most. The clitoris.
Yes, penetration feels good. But a lot of women aren’t coming from penetration alone (for those in the back that missed it the first time…). Using a dildo base creates challenges. Lack of space can make the experience awkward at best.
This saddle gives you built-in external stimulation while you ride. And even better, you can shift and adjust your hips until it lines up exactly how your body needs it.

The Handheld: Ergonomics That Make Sense
Ergonomic design isn’t just a catchphrase here. The handheld is designed to sit in your hand and stay steady without a death grip. 3 main points I noticed:
- Comfortable hold: supports a natural wrist angle, which helps during longer sessions
- Better control: easier to fine-tune placement without constant resetting
- Less fatigue: You don’t need to squeeze it tightly. Your wrist appreciates the straight angle.
In plain terms: it’s built for use, not just looking great in a product photos.
This handheld reminded me of a Rabbit, a little in shape, but mostly in results. It kept up at the same speed, and it got me off just as fast. That’s not a small compliment. Kudos to the VVD team!

The Rider Desire Base: User-Friendly Without Being Fussy
The Rider base is approachable. It’s smaller and weighs significantly less than a typical fucking machine. It is less expensive, and you’re not fighting straps, suction cups, or intricate setups. There’s no complicated assembly or a million tiny parts that make use feel like a chore.
It’s stable, straightforward, and built for repeat use. It feels user friendly even though it’s powerful, and that combination is rarer than it should be.
Added bonus: the intelligent team at VVD added buttons at the bottom to control the base. These can be used even if you lose the remote!

Designed for Real Bodies, Not Just “Perfect” Bodies
A body-friendly design shouldn’t be just about curves and aesthetics. It should be about accessibility.
This set isn’t only good for the average user. It’s a great choice for people dealing with arthritis. It also works well for those with reduced grip strength, joint stiffness, or pain flare-ups. It addresses the basic reality of aging. A lot of toys quietly assume you have unlimited wrist mobility and knees that work like a teenager’s. This one doesn’t.
The base gives you stability, which reduces how much you have to brace and balance. The handheld has a grip that makes sense, which matters when your hands cramp or fatigue quickly. Pleasure should not be reserved for the flexible, the young, or the pain-free.

Setup and Learning Curve
All my photos are taken on the bed. That’s the space I’m most likely to use a toy.
But for actual use, the bed wasn’t ideal. At least for me.
I used my hands to brace the front or back of the saddle. It sank into the mattress. It also shifted from the spot I wanted. So I’d line myself up, get going, and then the whole thing would move just enough to throw off alignment.
The floor solved that problem immediately. On the floor, it stayed where I put it. The trade-off is that the floor is hard on the knees. If your knees are sensitive, use padding. The VVD site also has recommendations on its page to help with this.
You don’t have to suffer for the sake of “aesthetic.”
The good news is once I got it aligned properly, it didn’t take me long to get off.

My Testing Notes
I tested this set across multiple sessions using both the saddle and the handheld with all the attachments on both. I tested on the bed versus the floor to see what changed in stability and alignment. In the future, I will try VVD’s suggestions found on their site.
A few practical notes from real life:
- It attracts pet hair and lint easily. That’s silicone for you, but yes, it’s noticeable.
- Once you find your position, it works fast. Really fast! I think I need practice 🙂
- The floor gives better stability. The bed gives better comfort.
- Both devices have a heating option (they list it around 42°C / 108°F). I had trouble getting it to stay in heating mode at first. What worked best for me was turning the unit on and activating heat before selecting vibration modes. When it did kick in properly, it made a bigger difference than I expected. I will definitely try the heating option again.
If yours blinks yellow once and goes back to a slow white flash, activate the heat immediately after powering on. Then, give it a minute. Mine seemed to be picky about the order.
Charging is a process, and runtime is about half the charge time…
- VVD Rider Desire (saddle/base)
- Charging time: ~3 hours
- Run time (“user time”): up to 1.15 hours (so, about 1 hour 15 min)
- RiderGo (handheld)
- Charging time: 1.5 hours
- Run time (“user time”): up to 45+ minutes
The good news is, you likely won’t need either to operate for that long!
How The Rider Desire & RiderGo Target Anatomy
- Grinder/clit stimulator: external stimulation while riding, without having to wedge in another toy
- Thrusting attachment: internal rhythm and pressure
- RiderGo handheld: targeted stimulation with strong “Rabbit-like” results
- body-adaptive: made to fit you, not the other way around
Attachments: What Hit, What Didn’t
I tried the attachments on both the handheld and the saddle.
My favorite was the RiderGo Finger attachment. It gave me the most consistent pleasure with the least effort. Easy to align, easy to keep in the right spot, and it delivered. It mimics the fingering motion almost perfectly, rubbing right where I enjoy most.
Second favorite was the thrusting attachment. Strong, rhythmic, and satisfying. This one does what it promises. I had thought it wouldn’t be a noticeable thrust, but I was pleasantly mistaken. Plus the ridges are an excellent touch.
The G-spot slapper and vibrating head were both good, but not my first choices. The G-spot slapper is almost aggressive. And the vibrator is simply that, vibration. Neither is bad. They’re simply not my personal winners. They felt more like variety options than “holy shit” options. I will use the finger and thruster attachments again and again. On both the base and the handheld.
Here’s a preview.
Performance
External stimulation
This is where the grinder/clit stimulator earns its place. For me, external contact is the difference between “nice” and “done.” On the base, you can control the intensity through your position. And the handheld has a huge variety of speeds and patterns. Of course, you have the option to not use the slit stimulator on both devices.
Internal stimulation
Whether using the Rider Desire base or the RiderGo, there is no shortage of internal stimulation. With the 4 attachments you can have more contact or less, depending on needs and desires.
All of the attachments have a unique to them texture. Covered with a body safe silicone, they’re soft enough for insertion, but hard enough to do the “hard” work.

Comfort, Control, Noise, Stability
The middle of the saddle (light pink) is a silicone-covered foam (I believe), and it is quite comfortable. The plastic surrounding and framing it is hard plastic, though. This doesn’t ruin the design. However, comfort depends on how you position yourself. It also depends on what surface you’re on.
I found the best stability on the floor. On the bed, the saddle can sink and shift, especially if you brace it with your hands.
Noise-wise: it’s not silent. I’m not bothered by that, but if you need to orgasm stealthily, plan ahead.
Travel-Friendly Charging: USB-C
Both pieces charge with USB-C, which means you can use your phone charger. No proprietary cord to lose. No “where did I put that weird cable?” panic when you’re away from home. Why this isn’t the norm across electronic devices, I don’t know, but to VVD – THANK YOU!

Strong Magnets That Feel Secure
I was skeptical about the magnetic design at first, but this system is anything but flimsy. The magnets are genuinely strong. This strength matters for two reasons. It provides stability during use. It also allows for care-free play without feeling like something is going to fly off mid-session.
Cleaning and Storage
I clean my toys before first use and after every session. Unclean toys lead to problems women do not need. Soap and warm water works for the silicone parts, and I use toy cleaner as well. Let everything dry fully before storing.
This kit attracts lint and pet hair. I’d recommend storing it in a bag or box. Avoid leaving it out on a shelf unless you enjoy picking fluff off your pleasure tech.
The good news? Both the Rider Desire Base and the RiderGo hand held come with their own boxes for storage.

Who it’s for, and who it’s not
This set is for you if
- You need clit stimulation to orgasm
- You like penetration but want it paired with external stimulation that doesn’t slip away
- You want something strong
- You appreciate ergonomic design
- You travel
This set is not for you if:
- You want everything plush and soft
- You only want to use it on a soft bed and you hate repositioning
- You’re extremely noise-sensitive
- You live in a home with pets and you hate lint on silicone
Rider Desire & Handheld Final Verdict
This set feels designed by people who understand women’s bodies. The saddle’s built-in external stimulation makes it truly orgasm-friendly. The handheld is powerful, ergonomic, and surprisingly fast at getting the job done. It isn’t perfect, but if you want a rider that actually supports how most women orgasm, choose this design. It is one of the smarter designs I’ve tested.
