Wear it with Confidence- Zalo Aya Wearable Vibrator Review

This is not a sponsored post. I was given the Zalo Aya Wearable Vibrator in exchange for a fair review. Any purchases through this site are non-commissionable.

I’m always delighted when a new company reaches out for a review. Especially when they seem so well oriented with my lifestyle. That is the case with Lee from Honeysx, and the Zalo Aya Wearable Vibrator. Well actually, it’s full name is Zalo Aya App Control Multifunctional Wearable Vibrator, but that’s a lot to say in one breath. But a name is just a name, it’s the product that counts, so let’s call her (yes it’s a her, I say so) Aya from now on.

Past Experiences

I’ll admit, I haven’t been a big fan of wearable vibrators. They’re not really designed with a “one size fits all” mindset, and being on the petite side, I find many are too bulky to sit within my folds comfortably. At least for an extended amount of time.

The second issue I always run into with wearable vibrators is that they don’t stay in place well. I mean, yes, the little magnet attaches the device to your panties (or whatever you call your undies!), BUT, if you do so much as shift wrong, the entire shivering apparatus shifts too, and then you have an embarrassing situation (not intended), that needs to be remedied. Also, how much do your panties weigh, because mine are pretty tiny. How can that small triangle of fabric be in charge of holding anything?

And lastly, they don’t hit the right spot. Maybe it’s because they are too big, maybe it’s because they don’t sit where intended, or are invented by a person without a clitoris… Maybe I have a flaw in my design. But whatever the reason, after a lengthy amount of time, I become frustrated rather than pleasured. Great for edging, but perhaps not so great for coming.

I know some of you are saying, why not just use an egg?

Well. While the internal stimulation from an egg is enjoyable, there’s no chance I’m going to come from it alone. Not in public, and not in private. I’m one of those ladies who needs external stimulation, mostly to my clit in order for the Big O to greet me (there are one-offs that happen sometimes. Those are nice). If the intent is to keep me aroused and well lubricated for an extended amount of time, then an egg is a excellent tool. But that isn’t what “I” was looking for.

When Lee reached out, it seemed like Honeysx may have a solution to my growing number of problems in mind.

Introducing the Zalo Aya Wearable Vibrator

So first off, isn’t it pretty? It has an Egyptian theme, using gold accents which I think are sexy and classy. Available in black, green or purple, it’s sure to fit into any toy collection. Being remote capable, you can use it with a friend (or two). And it also has an app for longer distances, like anywhere in the world (with wi-fi compatibility).

But the best part is not the vibrant colors, the remote capability, or the app (but those are cool features). The best part is the intelligent design.

This wearable vibrator has a silicone attachment, made for slipping inside and tickling interior walls. Not only transferring the vibrations to other regions of the vagina, but also helping it stay in place. Through stationary or very energetic movement, as I learned.

Unboxing

Even the box for this device is elegant and serves a purpose. With three compartments, the top most holding your device in three sections.

The next portion contains all your paper work. A little book with almost every language you can think of, giving you directions on the toy’s use, and a QR code for mobile phone(s) synchronization. There is also a warranty card guaranteeing the device for 1 year.

The last Section contains a magnetic charging cord, and a satin carrying bag, which the charger and device fit into easily for ease of carrying and transportability. All bundled up, it’s a package that fits into the palm of your hand.

Charging

Like all the newest toys, Aya uses two small electrodes, and a magnetic charger. The instructions give a detailed description on how to do so, and with just a simple touch of one to the other, a blinking light tells you it’s charging, and that’s it. After a charge time of 90 or so minutes, the light stopped blinking. I still don’t know how long the run time is (the manual doesn’t state).

Options, Options, Options…

Aya has 3 control options, so, of course, I tested it three times. Once solo, because, how can you tell how much you enjoy something if you don’t try it out for/by yourself?

Once with Mister K as the remote holder, which has a distance of 8 meters (24 or so feet). Because he likes to play too and was gracious enough to assist. With a smile.

And lastly over a distance of 3887 km (2415 m) using the mobile app and the help of a volunteer (more about this volunteer at a later date). Because sometimes even friends should get benefits.

Solo

Before anything, I always clean my toys. Unclean toys lead to issues we as woman just don’t need. Keep it clean and it (your vagina) will reward you. Always wash your toys with soap and water after removing them from the packaging, and use a cleaner for toys before and after each use. Aya is made from medical grade silicone (all parts, even the remote), so making sure to not use an abrasive cleaner is key (as well, silicone lube is a big no-no with silicone toys, as is storing silicone toys together).

In hand, Aya is light weight. Much lighter than previous wearable options (I’ve tried 4 or 5, I think). Testing the device modes before using it for the intended purpose, I learned that you can manually operate the device in the all 9 modes, without the remote to the app. SO, if you forget one, or don’t have access to the other, it is still a viable option, which I’m sure all of us can appreciate.

A single press and hold powers the device on, the same powers it off. You can switch through the 9 modes with just a tap of the button, even with the vibrator tucked neatly in place.

Zalo Aya Wearble Vibrator Attachment

I was shocked how flexible this little finger attachment is. I say finger because it is almost exactly the same shape and size (at least of mine). But it has the benefit of a bulbous tip. Is this meant to fit better? I think it is.

The device itself, fits snuggly inside the attachment, using suction to stay in place.

Once the two pieces were made one, it was time for the real test.

Learning Aya, Inside and Out

The attachment was slim, so lube wasn’t necessary (although wetter is better, in most experiences). After snuggling the probe into place, I found the vibrator piece fit comfortably between my labia- and the smaller design fit exactly where I wanted it to. At first it wanted to pop right out, because, well, foreign object. And it’s only a finger depth long and not very girthy.

But as soon as I pulled my panties up, Aya stayed in place. The magnetic clip lined up with no help from me and like magic, everything was where it was supposed to be. Being light weight, it didn’t make my panties pull out of place or sag like my previous experiences.

Compared to other designs, I was quite happy with how well Aya sat inside my vulva. There wasn’t as much of a bulge as I’d noticed in the past, and I wondered, could I get away with wearing a pair of tights.

The answer was no, not without being conscientious of it. I found it was still too noticeable a bulge (and resembling the toe of a camel-which I know, some really love. That day, I was not one of those people).

The vibrator was super quiet, even on full speed, but the combined sensations heightened the experience and I found I was ready to climax much faster than I would have thought. Some of that was the excitement, of course. So I did the sensible thing and went for another. Although it took longer to achieve the second orgasm, it was certainly just as fulfilling as the first.

Remote Control

Testing with the remote was a fun treat as a married couple. With up to 8 meters (24 or so feet) in any direction, the remote control made for a great afternoon of fun and games. Once turned to on, the remote is no longer needed until you want to power off, as Mister K learned. He is a quick learner.

But of course before you can begin, it needs to be inserted. A delightful procedure as a married couple or as a D/s dynamic. There’s always a bit of a thrill when you’re told to bend over, as you have your labia explored and a toy inserted. This was no exception.

Then I heard those words I always dread. No coming. I want you good and wet.

Mister K had a great time turning Aya off and on from various points in the house, and leaving it going until he pleased. It was quite comical to see him peek in a window with a tiny controller in hand and a huge grin on his face.

After a few hours of having to stop to grab the counter, or any other solid piece of furniture to hold myself up as various intensities of vibrations undulated my vaginal region, Mister K said enough of that, and took what he really wanted.

***A note here that Mister K mentioned how well lubricated I was. Apparently a few hours of alternating vibrations will do this to a woman***

Mobile App

Like I mentioned, I had a volunteer for this test. I could have asked Mister K, but of course, what were the chances we would be more than half a city apart. That’s not a very good test for a product that brags about worldwide connectivity. So I asked “D” who lives in a different country, albeit the same continent as I. With a distance of 3887 km (2415 m) “D” was a huge help.

Fine Tuning

In order for the app to work, you need two mobile phones. One for the operator, and one for the receiver. Both parties (or more if you choose!) are linked to Aya using bluetooth. This gives Aya a few options as well, such as Video messaging (for a more intimate experience), vibrations themed to music (great for when you want to deprive senses and heighten others), and a drawing option (not tested, but I am intrigued). You can even chat with between users when they’re both sync’d.

Aya Sync’d and Ready

As with my experience with Mister K, where I never quite knew when it would change, my experience with “D” took that to a whole new level. We agreed on a set time and date. Linking everything ahead to ensure it would all work to plan. With no foreseen obstacles, there was nothing left but to try it..

“D” is not as polite as Mister K. His thought process was “go hard or go home.” Thankfully, I was at home, because the name of his game was to see how many times I could climax. Five being his ultimate number. If I could climax 5 times from Aya alone, “D” would give his seal of approval.

But the hitch was, there needed to be proof. Either Mister K had to vouch for me, or I needed to film it (which makes the video option a great accessory) and provide the evidence. Better yet if I could do both.

It took about 48 minutes, but all 5 climaxes were completed (I have video as proof. Mister K also talked me through one or two), with battery life to spare

And with that, I got “D”‘s seal of approval.

Aya’s Final Outcome

Obviously the Zalo Aya App Control Multifunctional Wearable Vibrator works, and well. With so many options, I personally think Aya is a great accessory to any toy box (or your purse). With an extended battery life, being light weight and flexible, easy to use and multi-use, Aya is almost the perfect vibrator (because it there such a thing?).

Whether you want to use it for a solo session, as part of a team, or long distance, Aya’s got you covered.

You can get yours for $99.99 USD on the HoneySX site.

Pros:

  • All 3 tests were done with the use of 2 charges- each use up to 2 hours.
  • Various colours to choose from
  • small, lightweight, and portable
  • smaller design meant for fitting female shape
  • Removeable silicone attachment for internal and external sensations
  • solo/remote control capability
  • worldwide bluetooth capability
  • magnet holds well
  • 1 year warranty
  • waterproof

Cons:

  • Magnetic charger- don’t get me wrong, they’re easy. But they also aren’t strong enough to hold on if you bump them unintentionally. Not necessarily a con, but a design limitation.

  1. What a fun & innovative toy. Hardison Parker clued me up to the fact that some people hook up (1 has toy & app and the other has app only) to play as like-minded strangers! Hot or what?? Great review putting the toy through its paces Mrs K (& friends)

I'd love to hear from you!
