Who am I?

Who am I?

Hello, I’m MrsK, author of Life of a Kinky Wife. I’m a multi-faceted, deeply passionate, sexual women (she/her) with a desire for life long learning. I have many roles; some are amazing, others are dreadful but they all come together to make me who I am.

Prior to running Life of a Kinky Wife I was a nurse, specialising in rehabilitation with disabled persons. It was a job that was very rewarding and taught me much about compassion, empathy and doing what’s right, even when no one is looking. The most crucial thing I learned; even though we all have our idiosyncrasies, we all just want to be loved, respected and overall, accepted for who we are. It’s my goal to help promote this and create a world of equality and acceptance. Whether that is in the kink community or for all persons worldwide.

Three years ago I gave up my career to bring my two beautiful children home full-time. I am now a homeschool mom who is doing her best to teach about where we fit into the world, and more importantly how that helps us get where we’re going. Each day is a new lesson and not always for them. My favourite part? That I can give them a wholesome education that doesn’t focus solely on mathematics and geography, but also on how to love everyone for who they are and to accept all, even if our views aren’t the same. The biggest advantage for us is sexual education has become more than just naming body parts and knowing how they work. It’s also about knowing how to ask for consent, how to ask for what you need and speaking each others love languages.

In my Dynamic with my wonderful husband and Dominant Mister K, I identify as heterosexual, cis-gendered, monogamous and submissive. That is not to say that I don’t have bi-sexual traits and a desire for play with others. It just means in this dynamic, those are my roles. I believe there is always room for growth, finding new ways to explore your sexuality and creating the best life you can. I wasn’t always the submissive of Mister K, and this role has taken more work than all the others combined. It continues to push my limits, press on my boundaries and forces me to grow as a human, but also a wife, mother and submissive.

When not serving my Sir, teaching my children or trying to work towards the betterment of mankind, you’ll find me in my garden, or in my workshop, making soap, aftercare products or just experimenting. I also love working with my hands, be it making kinky crafts, painting or building kinky furniture. I prefer to live a life that is natural and conscientious of nature and the natural order of things, easier said than done in this day and age.

In my local kink community, I enjoy participating in rope nights, being a service sub during Femdom events and actively advocating for the rights and roles of the kink community. Personally, I think most people are kinkier than they think, if they’d just let their barriers down. I am open to questions and comments about this topic, either for my blog or just a friendly conversation.

This blog is about my life as a submissive and wife, BDSM and Kink and is an extension of me and my growth. I aspire to use this site to encourage, educate and inspire others who are intimidated by BDSM and Kink, but are feeling like it may be for them. Creating something life changing is a scary ride and takes courage. I hope my experiences will help to relieve others anxieties, give knowledge where there were once doubts and show people old and young, kinky or not that there’s no shame in being yourself, and some of us actually prefer that you are. I don’t have all the answers, but I do know that with support, lives can become amazing journeys.

To learn more about me, visit my How I got here post where I talk about how I became a submissive and wife. Our relationship is based on honesty, trust and years of trial and error. It has not been easy and we’re still learning to be the best we can. But life isn’t supposed to be easy, only worth it!

Happy kinking!

You have done an amazing job this year and simply exploded on to the bloggin scene.
I think more people are kinkier than they think too – and often it takes meeting ‘that person’ or having ‘that chat’ for it to be realised
