So, last weekend was my birthday, and marked the beginning of the final year of my 30’s.
Last year, my birthday took place two weeks after the first global lockdown for Covid began, so I was unable to do anything besides a lovely photoshoot designed by Mister K. It was by far the best way to celebrate a Birthday to date though, and I was really hoping for it to become a tradition.
This year, we didn’t have many more options, but restaurants were open, so I got to have a dinner, prepared by someone else for the first time in over a year. It was a great treat, and both myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I may have binged a bit though. Sirloin Oscar is simply too good to resist.
I even had an alcoholic beverage for the first time in over a year. A Watermelon Cosmo that tasted like summer in a glass. Thankfully my Dom was there to remind me of my goals, or I may have over-indulged on those as well.
The return home had us all complaining of over-full but happy tummies, but we still had to have dessert. Mister K had a plan in progress though, like he always does.
