Christmas Parties and Caroling

Kinky Advent 2020 – Day 22

See other posts in this project here.

Today was about Christmas parties and singing carols. With covid lockdowns in full swing, both of our themes for today were virtual. But maybe that made them more fun!

Christmas Party

Day 22 from the SafeworD/s Club tasked us with joining their online Christmas party. I joined and I have to say, it was more fun than any party I’ve ever been to before. Of course, I got to sit at home in my panties, so there is that! That’s truly my go-to outfit. It looks a lot like this:

We played a few games and had even more laughs, all in the comfort of our homes.

If you’re looking for a great online community where you can gain knowledge, meet like-minded people and have a lot of fun, I suggest checking the SafeworD/s Club out. You’ll not be disappointed. They have chats Sundays and Tuesdays, and another on Fridays for Submissive’s. Plus they have a huge catalogue of articles to read.

Mister K and I aren’t really party go-ers. The one and only Christmas party we attend each year is a Kinky Christmas Fiesta. Last years theme was leather. This years was supposed to be lingerie. If we had of been able to go my attire would have looked something like this:

Here we come A-Caroling

The prompt for Day 22 from the Submissive Guide was about Caroling and enjoying the songs of the season. I haven’t been caroling in so long, I can’t even remember the last time. So, instead if listening to, I thought I would take the time to write about my favourite Christmas carols and join in with Jae Lynn’s meme, Musically Ranting.

Christmas carols effect us all differently. We like the sound or the words behind them, or if we’re more traditional, maybe we like the message. Some don’t like them at all. I have two absolute favorites, but many I like.

My favourite traditional Carol is: The Carol of the Bells. It’s literally a song about how bells make us feel cheerful. That’s it. At least in English. This version is by the Pentatonix, who are amazing. They make music with nothing but their voice boxes. Rhythm, bass, everything. But Carol of the Bells is unique, even in it’s original form. It’s quite fast paced, and was originally written in Ukrainian, in the year 1916. The lyrics have different meanings depending on the language (Ukrainian or English), but either way, something about it makes me stop and listen.

My favourite new-aged carol is: Better Days by the Goo Goo Dolls. I have been a fan of the Goo Goo Dolls since adolescence, and at one time listened to their albums Dizzy up the Girl and A Boy named Goo on repeat for months.

This song really talks about how we put things in boxes with fancy wrappings but don’t ask for what we really should, like a chance for better days. While some of the words touch at the Christian meaning of Christmas, like a child is born so we’ll be forgiven, the song tells us that the world can be better place with some faith, love and trust. Sounds like great thing to believe in. And the main reason I like it.

We have just two days left and then it’ll be Christmas. Tomorrow brings us Christmas Trees, and twinkling stars and lights. Sounds festive!

See you tomorrow!

  1. Gorgeous images Mrs K. I loved both songs you linked as well. Carol of the bells will always have a special place in my heart. I listened to Goo Goo Dolls as a teenager and still come across them in my playlists.

  2. I love that outfit and the last image is stunning. Thank you so much for the shout out for the club. It was a lot of fun and great to have you there. Missy xx

  3. And I certainly agree with PurpleSole. I’d like to add that you appear so relaxed in your “go-to outfit”….plus, quite a nice bum. Cannot wait for tomorrow’s posts!

  4. I just can’t get over how gorgeous that image of you in your stockings 😍. Just like a model in a catalog, and I feel like that isn’t the first time I’ve said that to you.

I'd love to hear from you!
