Thigh Highs and Underclothes

The prompt selected this time around by MLSLavepuppet was Thigh Highs. She choose a fairly simple tie from The Duchy called LoopChain Thigh Highs, which is a common knot style for this type of tie. The Loop Chain is considered fashion rope and not real bondage because it uses a quick release tie instead of actual knots. It’s still a lot of fun though and gives a good example of how to wear rope as attire or under your clothes. The lack of knots allows the rope to sit tighter against the body and creates less chance of digging into pressure spots, meaning less discomfort. Mister K and I have have used it before in Mermaid Tail and All Dressed Up.

The tutorial supplied shows three different variations of the thigh highs so we decided to use one of those first, choosing the Evening Dress. The thought behind it was: Can you wear it under your clothes? Over or instead of underclothes (underwear)? And have it hidden? Or if at the right party, wear it independently? We decided that the loop chain dress was a good tie for this. I really enjoyed the semi-corset tie that Mister K incorporated.

Having the chain loop on the side reminded me a of a zipper, and would be a great place for a high slit in an evening dress.

It is Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada, so with family gatherings (covid-safe) and having an extra day off with Mister K, we were a bit busy. It took a day or two for us to come back to the prompt. When we did, we decided to try a more natural fiber rope and went with a thick jute. The rawness of the rope gives a different reminder about what you’re wearing, unlike smooth cotton or nylon rope. While being a bit itchy, the jute rope held better, slipped less and was able to be tighter than the previous attempt. It also created those flesh digging lines that are often wanted with bondage.

For this, Mister K decided to do a simple hip strap and the thigh only. The goal was to have enough rope so it would ‘peek’ out under the dress, but not so much that it took away from the formal attire completely.

Mister K is really great at completing my requests and rope is no exception. The natural fibers went quite well with my skin tone, but also hid under the dress well. I choose a lace dress as we were in scene, not at a formal party, so the rope showed through. The final look was quite nice, in my opinion.

Please remember to keep safety scissors on hand at all times when playing with rope, and when wearing it as well. Better safe than sorry. Most importantly, have fun!
